Biosummary:
Dr. Kristjanson is a Canadian with a Ph.D. in agricultural economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With ten years of experience working on multidisciplinary teams from international and national agricultural research centres, donors and governments in 14 African countries, she joined ILRI in 1996 in the area of systems analysis and impact assessment.
Her work at ILRI focuses on the development and application of methodologies to explore the potential and actual economic, social, and environmental impact of new technologies developed through collaborative scientific research with the objective of strengthening the link between researchers and resource-poor farmers in the developing world.
